Consumer Council research shows that just over half of consumers feel informed about their rights. With this in mind, ahead of 15 March which marks ‘World Consumer Rights Day’, the Consumer Council says it is important for consumers to know their rights so they can take action to get redress when things go wrong with goods or services they have purchased.
