Consumer Council information for passengers on delayed and cancelled flights
Cold weather is affecting airline passengers from across Northern Ireland with many flights cancelled or delayed. Here’s the Consumer Council’s advice on your rights and options if your travel plans are disrupted by the bad weather:

Money Week 2010 got underway at a special event in Fermanagh’s Clinton Centre today (5 March). Economy Minister, Arlene Foster joined the Financial Capability Partnership NI and Fermanagh District Council to launch the week-long initiative, which aims to equip local people with the skills and confidence to manage their money better.
The Consumer Council is working with the CCEA to organise three conferences for GCSE Home Economics teachers to help them educate their students on how to be confident, informed and financially savvy consumers. The conferences will prepare teachers for delivering the increased consumer awareness content in the revised Home Economics curriculum. They are taking place on:

It includes tips and information on pocket money, saving and budgeting and how to help children of all ages make good decisions about money.
