The Consumer Council believes that the Government's investment in buses and trains is reaping results for passengers. The statement comes as independent research[1] shows an increase in performance on all Translink services. The Consumer Council has persistently demanded that Translink focus on getting people from A to B on time, every time and are welcoming the news that at last they are beginning to perform to the standard passengers expect. The Government and passengers need to see a return on the significant investment made to date and that requires sustained performance by Translink.
