Understanding Fuel Poverty levels and energy affordability in Northern Ireland

The Consumer Council commissioned Cognisense to conduct an online survey exploring issues related to energy usage and affordability, and to assess the extent of fuel poverty in the region.  The research is based on a large-scale survey of 1,000 consumers and was carried out in December 2024. The research was conducted in line with the Market Research Society’s Code of Conduct.
