Consumer Council research has revealed that consumers can save up to 60 per cent by pre-booking on-site long stay airport car parking instead of paying at the gate. A saving of up to £52 is currently possible for a pre-booked stay of 14 days, meaning that passengers can have more money to spend at the other end of their flight or to pay for that extra suitcase.

Air passengers will be able to check their rights at the click of a button, thanks to a new Consumer Council podcast. Joining forces with Northern Ireland’s three airports, the Consumer Council will give demonstrations to summer travellers, so that they can assert those rights if anything goes wrong.
With ongoing disruption to flights due to the French Air Traffic Control strike (24-30 June) the Consumer Council is reminding passengers of their rights if their flight is delayed or cancelled.
