The Consumer Council has thanked consumers throughout Northern Ireland who came to speak to its staff when it exhibited at various Agricultural Shows during the summer. The event formed part of the Consumer Council’s outreach campaign which aims to provide face to face engagement and support for consumers right across Northern Ireland.
The Consumer Council is reminding all air passengers that they may be entitled to compensation if their flight is delayed or cancelled.
WRAS consultation on 'Keeping Water Safe in Premises' - Water Suppliers' National Enforcement Policy
The Northern Ireland Assembly has been awarded the Consumer Council’s ‘Water Champion’ status after it improved its water efficiency. The award is given to organisations that demonstrate how they have reduced water usage and saved money through the implementation of water saving measures.
The Consumer Council is calling all advice and community workers to brush up on their knowledge on the rights of passengers when travelling by air and sea. The Consumer Council is delivering a free seminar on air and sea passenger rights in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Friday, 20 September at 10.00am – 12:30pm.
The Consumer Council will have an exhibition stand at the Omagh Campus South West College Freshers Fair.
