Consumer Council information for passengers affected by Goldtrail collapse.
Last updated 11.20am Tuesday 20 July 2010
Goldtrail Travel Limited, which offered flights and package holidays to Turkey from Belfast International Airport ceased trading on Friday 16 July 2010. There will be no further outbound flights.
This is having a considerable impact on passengers due to the time of year and popularity of Turkey as a destination for Northern Ireland holidaymakers. Approximately 1000 passengers are affected locally, including those already in Turkey and those due to fly over the coming days.
