The Consumer Council has welcomed today’s news that Phoenix Supply will reduce its tariff by 8.5 per cent from 1 April 2012 for its Belfast-based domestic and small business customers. The average annual Phoenix bill will be £550 from the 1 April giving an annual saving of £51 or £4.25 per month for over 130,000 Phoenix Supply customers.

The First Minister has launched Northern Ireland’s third Money Week which got underway today (23 Feb) at a special event in Craigavon’s Civic and Conference Centre. Peter Robinson joined the Financial Capability Partnership NI and Craigavon Borough Council to launch the week-long initiative, which aims to equip local people with the skills and confidence to manage their money better.
