The Consumer Council is urging people to have a warm and happy Christmas by
keeping track of their spending, shopping around for home heating oil and making
sure they are getting all the financial benefits they’re entitled to. These are the
key messages of the Consumer Council’s ‘Warm and Happy Christmas’
campaign, launched today.
This year, online spending is set to increase  as more people than ever are using the internet to buy their Christmas presents. Whilst many consumers feel it is a quick and easy way to compare prices and offers, some people are unaware of their rights online. The Consumer Council’s ‘Online Shopping Tips’ leaflet is full of advice to help you become a savvy shopper.
