Aodhan O’Donnell, head of transport at the Consumer Council said, “We welcome that Enterprise services are back on track ahead of schedule and that some very good promotional fares are on offer to regain passengers. The Consumer Council is particularly pleased about the introduction of special fares which don’t have to be booked in advance.

The Consumer Council has welcomed the launch of the Department for Regional Development’s (DRD) consultation on public transport reform. The consultation is seeking views on the proposals for transforming the delivery of public transport in Northern Ireland. The Consumer Council sits on the stakeholder forum which has helped develop these proposals.
