The Consumer Council, in partnership with CCEA, is organising three conferences for A - Level Home Economics teachers in March 2009 to help teachers prepare for the consumer issues content of the revised Home Economics curriculum.
On 5 may 2005 the SCD event marked the launch of "I Will if You Will", a new report from the government advisory group, the Sustainable Consumption Roundtable.
The Consumer Council will be attending the 'Life Event' at Forthspring Inter-Community Group on Tuesday 5 July from 12pm - 3pm. Staff will be available to answers any queries on consumer issues and can also provide advice on any complaints you may have in relation to water, energy, transport or postal issues. We will also have lots of consumer leaflets, which you can take away with you.
The Consumer Council is currently inviting views on its draft Corporate Plan 2016-21 and Forward Work Programme 2016-17.
