Consumer Council response to CAA Announcement

The Consumer Council has welcomed today’s announcement by the CAA that they are taking enforcement action against airlines who are not complying with the law.

Scott Kennerley, head of transport policy at the Consumer Council said: “This is welcome news for those passengers who have been delayed in getting the compensation they are entitled to. The Consumer Council raised concerns with the CAA  and requested that action be taken against those airlines in Northern Ireland who have continued to ignore the rights of passengers. We will continue to work with the CAA to make sure those airlines live up to their obligations.”
