The Consumer Council works to help consumers get a fair deal on their grocery shopping and improve their experience.

We do this by working with key stakeholders such as the Food Standards Agency in Northern Ireland and Safefood, as well as with grocery retailers and government to ensure consumers’ needs are considered when it comes to pricing, promotions and other retailing practices.
