The Housing Rights Service and the Consumer Council have become increasingly aware of the large extent of high-cost, sub-prime lending in Northern Ireland and of the disproportionate effects such lending can have on low-income households.

This seminar aims to explore these issues further and will include the launch of ‘Towards Financial Inclusion’ a Research Report by Housing Rights Service and a round table discussion on financial inclusion and capability issues facing local consumers and potential solutions, facilitated by the Consumer Council and Partners.
