  • Invite Only: No

Following on the hugely successful inaugural Consumer Parliament in Belfast in 2017, The Consumer Council is now pleased to announce we are organising a similar event in Derry/Londonderry on 23 March 2018.

The Parliament will provide consumers with the opportunity to raise the issues most important to them, learn about their consumer rights and, most importantly, how to save money and reduce their household bills.

  • The event will take place in the Guildhall, Derry/Londonderry from 10am – 3pm.
  • It will include individual breakout sessions, focusing on consumer issues relating to energy, public transport, water services, postal services as well as general consumer issues.

  • The Consumer Parliament will be of interest to all residents in the Derry/Strabane council area, in particular young consumers, the elderly, those living in rural communities, those living with a disability or long-term sickness, those living on low-incomes and small business.

We will also have opportunities for stakeholders to take an active part in the Parliament and engage with regional organisations, groups and individual consumers. Further updates on these opportunities will be released shortly.
