Energy Switching Week 20 - 24 October 2014

'Energy Switch and Save' events:

  • Monday 20 October - 1pm to 3pm at the City Hotel, Derry / Londonderry
  • Thursday 23 October - 1pm to 3pm at the Spires Conference Centre, Belfast.

These events are free to attend and will give consumers an opportunity to speak face to face with Consumer Council staff who will explain the switching process. Consumers will also have the opportunity to bring along their latest energy bill and Consumer Council staff will help them understand it and use it to identify the best deal. Consumers will also have the opportunity to speak with the various electricity and gas suppliers and make the switch there and then if they wish.

As well as providing advice and information on switching supplier, the events will have information in other related areas such as energy efficiency, switching bank accounts, car insurance, online shopping and general consumer rights advice.

These events form part of 'Energy Switching Week' which runs from Monday 20 October to Friday 24 October 2014 and aims to highlight the benefits of shopping around for energy and how easy it is to switch energy supplier.
