This year's Schools Poster Competition 2008 awards ceremony takes place at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn on Friday 13 June, 2008 at 11.00am

The winner of each age category will receive £100 for their school and a £50 gift voucher and the two runners up will win £50 for their school and a £25 gift voucher. Every entrant receives a Consumer Council Certificate of Achievement.
A fun day is planned with circus entertainment, goody bags and U105's Breakfast show DJ Maurice Jay will on hand to give out the prizes to the lucky winners!
This popular competition is now in its sixth year and the number of entrants is growing every year. Almost 10,000 pupils from primary and special schools have taken part over the years.
The competition encourages pupils to be responsible consumers and invites them to design a poster or write a poem, rap or song around the following themes.
