The activities allow pupils to put into practice their knowledge of this law by identifying ways in which the Act can be broken and then carrying out customer and supplier role-plays. This activity extends the initial lesson 'How do businesses behave', providing students with the opportunity to explore environmental issues based around sustainable development. These days' consumers and governments are demanding that businesses operate in a more responsible and environmentally friendly way.
Disposing of waste responsibly, energy/resource conservation; using recycled materials in the manufacturing of products and anti pollution measures are all important issues for businesses, given the current trends in corporate responsibility and environmental awareness.
