Little Jakub Kicinski (aged 2) and mum, Anna Kicinska, put into practice some of the budgeting tips they’ve picked up from the Consumer Council’s new ‘Informator Rady Konsumentów Porady dla rodziców’ (Money Tips For Parents) publication. The guide is designed to help parents equip their children with the skills to budget and manage their money as they grow up. Working with ethnic minority groups the Consumer Council has translated Money Tips for Parents into five languages: Polish, Portuguese, Lithuanian; Chinese and Slovakian, which it hopes will help the 33 - 41,000 migrant workers employed across Northern Ireland[1].  Copies of Money Tips for Parents are available to download from www.consumercouncil.org.uk or by calling 028 9067 2488.
