NI Financial Capability Partnership
The Financial Capability Strategic Partnership is a coalition of organisations and individuals who are committed to improving financial capability in Northern Ireland.
Led by the Consumer Council and the Financial Services Authority (FSA), it brings together representatives from the public, private and voluntary sectors.
The objectives of the Partnership are to:
- Act as a strategic focus for financial capability work undertaken in Northern Ireland
- Take forward priority areas identified in the FSA UK Strategy in Northern Ireland (eg the Anti-Poverty Strategy)
- Strengthen the links already created eg from community to the workplace, from curriculum to informal and formal education sectors.
- Identify priority areas of work and coordinate work streams
- Help everyone stay informed of each other’s objectives and work programme
- Help the FSA and other groups identify the gaps and the areas of work in Northern Ireland, which should be tackled
