<p>The General Consumer Council today welcomed the publication of new codes of practice by Phoenix Natural Gas.</p>
The codes cover a range of issues on using gas in your home - everything from using pay as you go meters to making a complaint.
Steve Costello, Chairman at the Council said: " Consumers need to be able to sign up to natural gas with confidence, so this is a welcome step by Phoenix.
“We are pleased to be able to support this document, which is aimed at making life better for gas customers here. We encourage consumers to take the opportunity to read the codes and find out more about what to expect from gas the product and Phoenix Natural Gas the company."
